  • Use 70MHz low pass filter, so waveform is better than SN
  • Parallel and serial data input can be selected via a jumper
  • The benchmark produces DA pin (PIN12) leads for easy adjustment to do the magnitude of the output waveform applications
  • AD9851 module is the active crystal 30MHZ

This review is from: SainSmart AD9851 DDS Signal Generator Module Circuit Diagram, 2 sine wave(0-70MHz) and 2 square wave(0-1MHz) output (Electronics)

Took a while to arrive from the other side of the world. Just the circuit board in jiffy bag. No instructions. It seemed a good way of buying a one off DDS chip. Had to scan the internet for information. It’s being used as programmable oscillator to drive a Softrock for SDR. There is a low pass filter on board, it’s not perfect. You will need a microcontroller to set frequencies. Having said all that it does make a very SDR radio. In short a project with a challenge.
